Eight gated steps from first inquiry to year-20 operation — covering feed assessment, process design, fabrication, FAT, shipping, SAT, commissioning and lifecycle support. Each capability is documented with its own deliverables list, decision gates and an explicit statement of what we do — and what we do not — in-house.
Every EvapCryst project moves through these eight gated stages. Each has defined inputs, deliverables and decision gates. Stages 1–4 cover design and engineering; 5–8 cover manufacturing, delivery and lifecycle.
Client submits project parameters and (ideally) feed sample. EvapCryst returns feasibility note and indicative scope within 2 business days.
Heat & mass balance, simplified PFD, equipment sizing, material selection. Client review and sign-off at defined gates.
P&ID, equipment drawings, piping isometrics, civil and electrical interface. 3D model review with client before fabrication release.
Bench-scale or pilot trials (where required) to verify scaling, crystal PSD, material compatibility and performance assumptions.
Welding per WPS / PQR, NDE, pressure testing, material traceability. Third-party inspection witnesses per client request.
Factory Acceptance Test, export-grade crating, container loading, seaworthy packaging, shipping documentation (COO, BL, packing list).
Site Acceptance Test, cold/hot commissioning, contractual performance test against guarantee curves, operator training.
Final documentation, O&M manual transfer, remote monitoring activation, scheduled inspection and spare parts program.
The disciplined front end. Feed characterization (TDS, COD, viscosity, pH, anion/cation screen), process-route selection (MVR, multi-effect, TVR or hybrid), simplified PFD, major-equipment sizing, indicative CAPEX — the engineering basis on which every downstream decision rests.
Detailed engineering converts the process package into a buildable plant. P&ID development, equipment datasheets, piping isometrics, structural and electrical interface, 3D model for clash detection and client review. All deliverables in English.
Honestly tiered to match the actual risk — not a one-size-fits-all add-on. Tier 1 in-house feed assessment is the baseline. Tier 2 pilot trials run through qualified partners where scaling, PSD or material compatibility need verification. Tier 3 independent-lab referral for pharma-grade or battery-grade streams where customer-side verification is appropriate.
Misrepresenting testing depth is the fastest way to lose a client's trust. Where testing is partner-supported or referred to independent labs, it is labeled as such in every proposal and every data sheet. Where pilot trials are recommended but the client chooses to skip them, the resulting performance assumptions are documented and signed off before equipment commitment.
QC documentation is the single most verified deliverable for overseas buyers. Every weld, every material, every pressure test is traceable. Fabrication runs under documented WPS / PQR / WPQ, with NDE (RT, UT, PT, MT), hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing per ASME / PED / GB. Third-party inspection (SGS, BV, TÜV, Lloyd's) at material, fabrication, FAT and shipping stages on request.
Material specification is driven by feed chemistry, chloride content, pH, temperature and purity targets. Typical selections range from baseline SS 304 for clean streams to Hastelloy C-276 for strong-acid service. Selection must be confirmed by corrosion testing on the actual feed matrix — indicative cost deltas vary with market conditions.
Where certifications are listed, they are listed honestly. Where a stamp is not yet held, we label it as such and route through partners who hold it. Subject to project requirements — not every project needs every stamp.

Factory Acceptance Test verifies mechanical integrity, instrumentation loops and documentation before shipping. Site Acceptance Test confirms post-installation mechanical verification, piping and instrument checks. Cold and hot commissioning follow, ending with the contractual performance test against guarantee curves (capacity, concentration, crystal PSD, specific energy consumption) and classroom plus on-the-job operator training.
Secure remote SCADA access enables first-line fault diagnosis and parameter optimization without site travel. Critical spare parts kits are pre-positioned for the first 2 years of operation; long-lead items are identified in the proposal. On-site engineer dispatch is available for SAT, commissioning and major interventions, with visa and travel coordinated with the client.
Secure remote connection to PLC/SCADA for fault diagnosis and parameter optimization. Cybersecurity-controlled access.
Recommended spares packages for first 2 years. Long-lead items pre-positioned to minimize downtime.
On-site engineer dispatch for SAT, commissioning and major interventions. Visa and travel coordinated with client.
Annual or biennial performance audits, scheduled NDE / thickness surveys, and revamp / debottlenecking studies.
Capabilities stated honestly — so you know exactly what you are buying and where our accountability ends. Boundaries exist for engineering honesty, not for diffusing responsibility.
Process vessels, heat exchangers, separators, crystallizer bodies, piping, automation architecture & programming. Fabricated, tested and factory-accepted under EvapCryst quality control.
Vapor compressors, vacuum systems, centrifuges, filters, specialized valves. Selected from pre-qualified partners, integrated by EvapCryst engineering. We remain your single point of accountability.
Tier 3 testing for pharma-grade and battery-grade streams, code stamps not held in-house (routed through qualified partners with full disclosure). Honest labeling in every proposal.
Send us your project parameters. Within 2 business days you will receive a feasibility note, simplified PFD and indicative scope — backed by transparent capability disclosure.
Send your feed characterization (TDS, COD, main salts, viscosity), throughput and product targets — we respond with a preliminary process route within two business days.
